Can I bring my dog?
Our labradoodle Shanti lives on-site, she's super sociable friendly and very much a part of the Nesta Valley family. If you would like to bring yours on holiday with you we ask for you to respect our on lead policy and to bring a separate bed for your dog if your staying in one of our boutique camping accommodations.. We charge £15 per dog for the duration of your stay. You can pay for this online when you book your stay. If you are staying in our boutique camping please read our terms on pets.
How far are the nearest shops?
You can find a co-op in Chew Magna which is about a mile's walk from our site or Chew Stoke is 1.5miles drive which has a few more options. Otherwise we are close to Bristol and Keynsham where you will find all of the big superstores.
Do we need to bring our own bedding?
We provide bedding and in the Shepards Huts, School Bus and Fully Furnished 4m and 5m Bell Tents. However, if you book “Just The Tent” on our booking page you WILL need to bring all your bedding including what your sleeping on. If you feel the cold, we suggest you bring an extra blanket and a hot water bottle! We have a place to fill them up at the bar.
Can we bring our own food and drink?
For consumption at your tent, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink. Cooking outside your bell tent with a gas stove or raised BBQ is permitted, but not inside the tent please. Also be aware of local wildlife- don’t leave rubbish bags/ food outside your tent!
Alcohol is fine to bring and enjoy at your camp, please just don't bring your own alcohol to our cafe space. We are a small indepentant business, supporting local brewerys and wine merchants and we rely on your support to keep Nesta running year on year!
Can we pay using Credit or Debit card?
Absolutely, we have card readers on-site and accept cash as well.
Can we bring Barbecues/light fires?
If you bring your own BBQ please make sure it is raised off the ground and at least 3m away from from your tent if you’re staying in one of our bell tents. Don’t go to bed with hot coals alight! Disposable BBQs are not permitted on-site. Please dispose your coals when cool into the metal coal bin provided at the rubbish/recycling depot.
Are you open to non-residents?
Locals and non residents can buy a membership card for the season if they want to come and enjoy what’s on offer at Nesta over the summer. Membership cards can be bought online or onsite. Your membership will allow you unlimited access to Nesta Valley’s facilities, café and music nights and 20% discount on the Wild Valley Spa sauna hot tub and yoga classes.
Membership card’s are £15 per person and can be bought on our website.
If you are already staying on our site and have visitors coming from the surrounding area, please let us know so we can keep a tally of people who are onsite at one time. There is a small charge of £5 for parking for campsite guests.
How do we book a Hot Tub / Sauna?
Please call Bex on 07713140111 or send a message on whatsapp to book your time slot, or to make a booking. You can pay for a session in the sauna or hot tub when you reserve your tent but you can’t book a time, so be sure to make contact to reserve a spot before you arrive!
Are we allowed visitors?
Visitors are allowed to visit you on our site but we ask to respect other guests privacy and congregate around the cafe or relax in the spa facilities. Guest parking is charged at £5, and can be paid by cash or card when they arrive. Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight or use the Nesta Car Park for overnight stays.
Is Nesta good for kids?
Our site is great for kids, we have designed interactive play area's, craft activities in the cafe and wide open spaces where children can be expansive and wild. Our breakfast and food menus have kids options, and the evening entertainment will (mostly!) be family friendly. Just to be aware that we do have a licence at weekends for entertainment until 11pm on Thursday and Friday and Saturday til 12 midnight. On Sunday the music will be finished by 9pm. Oo if you are with little one’s who find it difficult to sleep with noise, just make sure you’re camped a little bit away from the main bar
What shouldn't I bring with me?
We are a family campsite with a relaxed atmosphere, respectful of other guests. Please do not bring sound systems, amplified music is prohibited at camp.
We will have an area with electric sockets where you can plug in a hairdryer etc near the showers, but remember you will not have power to your camp or the Bell Tents so limit the electrical goods you bring!
Phone charging is available at the bar.
There is a kettle at the wash up station should you like to fill a hot water bottle or make a cuppa before bed.
Drugs, weapons including BB guns, and disposable BBQ’s are also prohibited.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted in any of our undercover communal area’s.
